Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
The cancellation fee for sessions canceled within 24 hours of the appointment is 100% of the cost of the session. Rescheduling within 24 hours is subject to the 100% cancellation fee. A no-call no-show will always be subjected to 100% of the cost of that session with no exceptions.
If we are unable to charge the card on file for a canceled session a full deposit will be required to book your next session along with full payment of any unpaid cancellation fees.
We understand that sometimes things come up that cause last minute schedule changes and the sooner you contact us the more likely it is that we can find a resolution that works for all parties.
Late Policy
When you book a 45, 60, 75, 90, or 120 minute session you get the full time. At Soul Sanctuary the time it takes to change, get on/off the table, and for intake/outtake does not count toward your session time. Ideally your appointment will start at the time the appointment is scheduled, so arriving tenish minutes early to allow for time to use the restroom and get situated is best practice. The time your session starts is at the time your massage therapist enters the room, or at the start time of your appointment, whichever happens first. If you are aware that you will be running late please let us know so we can plan accordingly.
If you are 30 or more minutes late for your appointment and haven’t notified us that you are running late, you will be considered a no-show and your massage therapist will no longer be obligated to provide your service. If you are a no show you will be charged 100% of the cost of the session. If you are running late and you do communicate with us, your massage therapist will provide whatever time is left when you arrive; however you will still be expected to pay the full cost of the session.
Illness Policy
In the event that you are sick and unable to attend your scheduled session please reach out so we can get you rescheduled! If you have to cancel within the 24 hour cancellation window we will *waive the cancellation fee as we’d much rather you stay home, recover, and avoid exposing your massage therapist to your germs. If you’re “just getting over a cold” or feel like you may be at the beginning or end of an illness, or someone else in your household is sick, and you choose to come to your appointment anyway your massage therapist may require you to wear a mask for the duration of the session.
If your massage therapist is sick they will make a good faith effort to communicate with you as soon as they can. If they are feeling well enough to still come to work but might be contagious they will check in with your comfort level in seeing them that day and wear a mask during your session. If you decide to reschedule because your massage therapist is sick you will not be charged the cancellation policy.
*If you have multiple last minute cancellations and you have cited the reason as illness you may be required to pay a non refundable deposit to schedule future appointments.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather (snow, ice, or severe rainfall) your massage therapist will be in touch with you if they are unable to make it to the appointment. If you don’t feel comfortable/safe making it to your appointment please reach out to us (preferably via mobile phone) as soon as possible so we can make other adjustments.
